Cobble – definition (for those of you that don’t know) (Geological Science) geologya rock fragment, often rounded, with a diameter of 64–256 mm and thus smaller than a boulder but larger than a pebble. Or … to put together clumsily To me, it always meant only two things, those big stones that were used to make very old-fashioned roads, you know, the really bumpy roads that were or still are, in old parts of London and other old cities and towns. Or the second definition above, “.. he always cobbled something together, but it rarely worked well….” Now here we have Aspire offering me their latest pod system, ‘The Cobble’, would it ‘rock’ my world? On holding the box, I could feel that it certainly…

Everyone like the power of being able to make a choice the choice of what to so and when, the power of being able to choose. It gives us greater flexibility, we all love the freedom of choice. Now Aspire have given us freedom of choice. I don’t mean the expansive choice of their enormous range of products, we all know and enjoy the wide ranging types of devices they produce, from ‘pen’ devices like the PockeX to pod systems like the Breeze, Breeze 2 and the Spryte to bigger mods and kits like the single battery Zelos and Puxos kits and the…

I think vaping has almost come full circle at times, not so many years ago most people started their vaping journey on things like disposable cartomizers and cigalikes, and the slightly more flexible ‘pen’ style devices high nicotine content and very restricted mouth to lung hits.  As the technology progressed we were presented with higher eliquid capacity devices they became re-fillable, taking us from just a few drops of e-liquid, to 1ml, to 1.5ml and then 2ml and above, it seemed users wanted more convenience and less fuss. Then came along BVC coils from the likes of Aspire, much longer lasting, higher vapor and flavor…

Many months ago, I tried what I thought was a gimmick, a friend of mine had just bought a new RDA that used mesh. Mesh? Yes, wire mesh! A very fine mesh granted but mesh all the same. He was raving about the flavor and yes it did have great flavor but …. he said the dry hits that he’d had nearly choked him! Hot, acrid, and definitely not something you should experience. Now, being a kind of lazy, forgetful vaper, I decided to give it a miss right there and then and never touch one again.  I was in…

Is it a pod system? Is it an AIO? I’ve heard some people saying that this is a hybrid system, really? A hybrid? I don’t know about that. Well in my mind it’s both, but I’m going to stick with AIO, because that’s exactly what it is, everything ‘all in one’ really cool really compact package.  The fact that we can adjust the airflow, change the coil, refill the pod is neither here nor there, they are just the extra benefits that Aspire have built into this great little device. The package it comes in is also quite compact and…

Aspire have just released the Puxos kit, the tank included in the kit is called the Cleito Pro, although the single tank is not available yet, while with a name that seems to claim that its even more ‘special’,  like it’s for professional vapers… who gets paid to vape? If I did I’d be really rich, I vape all day haha. Back to the tank, it does look interesting, it does look different from anything else Aspire has made, but it’s still only a sub-ohm tank with the usual BVC coils. Yeah, it looks interesting with a ‘curvy’ comfortable looking delrin drip…

I got my hands on the new Puxos Kit from Aspire today and although it might seem a bit early, only a few hours, I felt I had to let people know my thoughts.  To say its great would be an understatement but let me talk you through why I think so highly of this Puxos kit in such a short space of time. First the name. Aspire seems to come up with all sorts of weird but wonderful names for their products and this is no exception, I don’t know who in Aspire dreams them up but they…

So, I’m a mech mod type of person, I like the instant hit I get from a fully charged battery and I like the clouds and flavor a mech mod with a good RDA brings.  Over the past year or so I’ve been amazed by the profusion of (can I say similar here?) mech style devices that are flooding the market. They say they are more convenient to use, hit like a mech and lighter. If you haven’t already guessed, I’m talking about squonk mods. That is, a mod with (usually) a single battery, mechanical operation, and a small squeezable…

I like a good big cloud vape from my big kits but it’s a bit, shall we say ‘obvious’ when I’m out and about. Kids and some little old ladies are scared of it and ‘pretend’ to splutter and have a fake cough if they’re with 20 meters of me when I blow a cloud. I needed something more discreet but still with the satisfaction of a nice vape. Was there such a thing? I tried a few but they weren’t really what I expected, the best ones were still a bit cumbersome, weren’t really ‘little old lady’ friendly, were…

Like almost any technology, trend, or hobby, vaping has very basic roots. We’ve come a long way since the days of cheap gas station cig-a-likes and vape pens that were feeding us crude, PG-laden e-liquids. Nowadays a lot of us love the feeling and taste of a high VG type liquid with huge clouds in a sub-ohm tank but almost everyone I know started vaping as a means to quit smoking, myself included, moving up to the likes of the big 200 watt devices  like the Aspire Skystar Revvo kits that are available now. Some of us though prefer to just…
