Vaping the Aspire Tigon Tank
The Tigon tank has two dimensions available: a 52 mm height and 24.5 mm width version and a 49 mm height and 23 mm width one. The standard version is slightly bigger than the TPD version.
The Aspire Tigon tank is ideal for MTL vaping and for a restricted DTL vaping style. In addition, the Aspire Tigon tank has a very efficient flavor production. Furthermore, it’s a vaping tank with an excellent leak-proof technology.
The 510 drip tips adapt perfectly to the mouth and they come in two different types: a longer style drip tip and a slightly bore ‘stubby’ style drip tip suitable for a DTL vaping style. Two drip tips varieties for two different vaping styles: DTL and MTL vaping.
Aspire Tigon Coils
Aspire offers three different types of coils to vape with the Aspire Tigon tank. The 0.4 sub-ohm coil is ideal for DTL vaping and it produces 23-28W of power output. The second Tigon coil is a 0.7 mesh coil designed for DTL vaping and ideal for all vapers who prefer mesh coils. Finally, there is a 1.2-ohm coil (10-12W) suitable for MTL vaping.
The 0.4 and 1.2-ohm coils are made of nichrome while the 0.7-ohm coil is made of Kanthal.
The Aspire Tigon tank is child proof. To fill it, just pull up the top cap and then proceed to slide the top cap to open it. As all tanks, once you fill it, let the coils saturate with e-liquid for approximately 5 minutes.
To replace the coil, you need to unscrew the base hardware. Remember that the Aspire Tigon tank can hold e-liquid when you change the coil, this is because the wicking holes in the tank are covered by a spring loaded sleeve that will slide shut, sealing the holes when the coil is removed.
Airflow and Battery
You can adjust the airflow to suit your vaping needs. The Tigon tank has 5 airflow levels. For example, the first airflow hole is ideal for MTL vaping (very tight draw). When you open it to see all the 5 airflow holes then you will have more airflow, which is ideal for DTL vaping style.
When combined with the stick-style Tigon battery, charging it is carried out by using the supplied USB cable (the maximum charge current can reach up to 2A).
