Aspire have just released the Puxos kit, the tank included in the kit is called the Cleito Pro, although the single tank is not available yet, while with a name that seems to claim that its even more ‘special’, like it’s for professional vapers… who gets paid to vape? If I did I’d be really rich, I vape all day haha.
Back to the tank, it does look interesting, it does look different from anything else Aspire has made, but it’s still only a sub-ohm tank with the usual BVC coils. Yeah, it looks interesting with a ‘curvy’ comfortable looking delrin drip tip, side filling (a first for Aspire) and three large airflow slots at the base of the 24mm but not much more than that.
I had heard that its good so I had to at least try, though I didn’t expect by just looking at it that it would be anything really different. So much for first impressions!
The first thing I noticed was the 0.5 ohm coil, big wicking ports, and I mean BIG for this type of coil, first thing that ran through my mind, ‘are they too big?’ would they flood the coil? The only way to find out was to fill it up and vape it.
To fill you need to slide up the top ring or collar to expose the fill port, that’s big too, big enough for any type of filling bottle. The top ring was a bit tight as Aspire have used a nice wide silicon seal inside the collar for the big port, but with a few drops of e-liquid it became easier and with this broad sealing ring I’m positive it won’t leak. I usually prime my coils before first use but as the coil is pre-fitted I just let it stand for about 6 or 7 minutes to soak up the e-liquid through the big wicking slots. The coil is a newly designed 0.5 ohm rated BVC coil to run between 60 and 80 watts. During this 6 or 7 minutes I checked Aspire’s website for more information. Apparently this coil will fit and is compatible with the Cleito and Cleito Exo tanks, the coils for those also fit this tank, except for the 0.16 ohm coil from the Cleito Exo tank, that isn’t compatible, but hey, it still gives me more choices.
I put the Pro onto my mod, I wanted to start off gently just to ‘break in’ the coil and wicking so I started at a lowly 50 watts, started vaping and was impressed, even at this lower wattage it was still out-performing all of my other similar sub-ohm tanks, and though I was almost chain vaping it was keeping up easily, must be those big wicking slots. The curvy drip tip was really comfortable and the airflow easy to adjust for my style of vaping, about 2/3 open. I like a warmer more dense and flavorful vape so I pushed up the wattage, first 60, then 70, then all the way up to 80 watts. I could probably take it even higher too. At 80 watts the vape I was getting was warm but not hot, dense but not wet, and with my favorite e-liquid which I’ve used for a long time, all the full rich flavor I expected, the coil easily kept up with my vaping and settings too! I imagine that clouds would get really big with the airflow wide open.
Aspire really gave this tank the right name, the Cleito PRO, and it rightly deserves it.

So don’t be put of by first impressions …..
