So, for those of you that have tried Aspire’s original Breeze, and thinking of trying the new Breeze 2, you might be interested to know what the major similarities and differences are.

The first and a big plus for flexibility when vaping, is the adjustable airflow. Sometimes you might want a tighter draw, with the Breeze 2, the airflow is adjustable. With the new ‘nicotine salts’ liquids that are coming onto the market, the higher nicotine in some can be a bit much with the increase in vapor of a more open draw.

Longer periods between charges is also something that everyone likes and the almost 50% increase in battery capacity from 650mAh to 1000mAh is a big plus there. However, the original Breeze did have a portable charging dock where the new Breeze 2 does not. Another thing is the positioning of the usb port, it’s now on the side, so it can stand upright while charging. The original Breeze usb port is in the base.

Talking of capacity, the e-liquid capacity has also been increased for the non TPD version from 2ml to 3ml with the Breeze 2, which obviously goes that much further between fill-ups.

Perhaps the most convenient thing about the Breeze 2 over the original Breeze is the ease of use. The pod is now a separate unit and therefore much easier to maintain and clean. Filling and changing coils is even more of a “breeze” too. With the original Breeze, changing the coil, or filling up the tank could get a tiny bit messy if we weren’t very careful. First, we had to remove the chimney unit with coil attached, under the mouth piece, then fill up the tank.  With the new Breeze 2 we can simply remove the pod by pushing the two side buttons, take out the pod, remove the plug and “fill-her-up”. We don’t need to touch the coil at all! Changing coils is even more simple too, remove the mouthpiece to reveal the chimney unit, unscrew, then unscrew and remove the old coil, screw in a new one, screw the chimney unit back into the mouth piece and it’s done!

As for using the Breeze 2, it now doesn’t have auto fire, it’s still 5 clicks on and 5 clicks off but you need to press the button to fire the device.

There we have the improvements and they are great but what about the things we love about the Breeze? They’re still there in Aspire Breeze 2.

Both devices still use the innovative Aspire ‘U’ tech coils, so they are compatible across devices. Form and format are still similar, lightweight and pocket/purse friendly, both are AIO (all-in-one) devices and both are perfect for nicotine-salt use.

One more thing … Aspire has made available replacement/spare pods for the Breeze 2 so we can now switch e-liquid at any time and even have different coil set-ups with us – just click out and click in. They even come with a coil pre-installed! How many other devices can do that?
