Vape Pens: Is it Better a Refillable or a Disposable One?
It depends on your personal preference. Some vapers prefer refillable vapes because they want to have more control over what they are vaping. On the other hand, there are vapers that prefer the convenience of vaping disposable cartridges. If you vape prefilled cartridges, you will not know for sure if the vape juice is of good quality or not, unless the vape brand specifies the brand and name of the e-liquid company. What can I Expect from a Stick Style Vape?
Vape pens come with a built-in battery with a battery capacity that ranges from 400 to 500 mAh. For instance, the Aspire SLX comes with a built-in battery of 450 mAh while the Aspire OBY, our latest vape pen device, comes with a built-in battery of 500 mAh. These stick style vapes don’t need very powerful batteries as they don’t require as much output power as vape mods or powerful pod mods.
Vape pens are not sub-ohm devices as they are designed for nicotine salts. In short, you are not looking for big vape clouds when you vape a portable stick style vape. The Aspire OBY pods come with a 1.2-ohm coil which is not replaceable. You can refill the pod until it is time to replace the pod for a new one. On the other hand, the Aspire SLX comes with a 1.3-ohm coil designed for nicotine salts as well. With the SLX, you don’t need to worry about refilling it, just vape and replace the pod for a new one when there is no e-liquid left.
You can expect a wattage range of 10 to 15 watts for a stick style vape. This sort of vaping devices don’t need more than that. For instance, the Aspire OBY has a wattage range of 10-12 watts and a constant voltage output of 3.7 volts.
Design and Vaping Style
A stick style vape is designed for portability and stealth vaping. Most of vape pens fit in the palm of the hand. For example, the Aspire OBY is 106 mm in length, 20 mm width and 14 mm in thickness.
In addition, most of pods are made of PCTG and they come with different coil materials. For example, the Aspire OBY uses standard coils with a Kanthal AF wire, while the Aspire SLX pods come with ceramic coils.
